Settings & Administration

Two settings areas exist, and the distinction matters:

  • Organisation settings (sidebar → Organisation settings) — applies to everyone in the organisation. Owners and admins see every section; a team manager sees only Desktop policy and Alert rules, scoped to their own team.
  • Account settings (your avatar → Account) — applies only to you. Everyone has these.

4.1 People

Your team roster.

People

What you see: every member with their role, status, last-seen time, and team, grouped by team on the left rail. Pending invites have their own view.

What you can do:

  • Invite members — by email, or copy an org-wide invite link.
  • Change role — any of the seven roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Team Manager, Viewer, Billing, or Employee (see chapter 1.2 for what each can do).
  • Create teams and move members between them — a team manager manages the team they belong to.
  • Deactivate someone who leaves; their history stays, but they can no longer sign in, and their seat frees up.

Last-seen tells you at a glance whose desktop app is actually running — "8m ago" means healthy; days ago means the app isn't running on their machine.

4.2 Organisation settings

General

General

Your organisation's name, type, and — most importantly — its timezone: the clock used to cut days for rankings, attendance, and reports. One clock for the whole organisation keeps everyone's numbers comparable; individuals choose their own display timezone under Account → Preferences.

Desktop policy

Desktop policy

Controls what members' desktop apps can do — this is where you decide the balance between visibility and autonomy before rolling out the app: whether tracking is required or voluntary, whether pausing is allowed, and whether audio is recorded. Policies can apply to the whole organisation or be scoped per team. Changes reach running desktop apps within a few minutes (immediately at next sign-in).

Alert rules

Alert rules

The rules behind Alerts: the prompts that decide when a member is nudged (written in plain language), suppression rules that mute nudges in specific situations (e.g. during meetings), and how alerts surface on members' desktops.

Corrections

Corrections

Standing overrides for productivity scoring — for example "time in Figma is always productive for the Design team". Team rules beat organisation-wide rules for that team's members; org-wide rules apply to everyone else. Use these when one-off corrections on the Activity page keep repeating.

Notifications

Notifications

Email settings for the weekly report digest — who receives it and when.

4.3 Billing

Billing

Subscription status, plan and per-seat pricing, the next billing date, and seat management — covered in chapter 1.

4.4 Your account

Open Account settings from your profile — these affect only you.

Account — Profile

  • Profile — your name, photo, role badge, and read-only account details; the sign-out button lives here too.

Account — Preferences

  • Preferences — your personal display timezone (how times are shown to you; rankings and reports keep the organisation clock) and your cookie preferences for this browser.

Account — Security

  • Security — add two-factor authentication with an authenticator app for an extra step at sign-in.

Account — Sessions

  • Sessions — every device currently signed into your account, with last-active times. Revoke anything you don't recognise; that device is signed out immediately.
