Website Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Effective 5 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the ScreenJournal website at screenjournal.ai (the "Site"), operated by Cyberinfra Limited ("ScreenJournal", "we", "us"). They cover the marketing Site only. Use of the ScreenJournal service, including the web app, the desktop app and anything you sign in to, is governed by our Terms of Use, which prevail for the service. By using the Site you accept these terms.
1. Using the Site
You may browse the Site and use its features, such as the support chat, demo requests, the interactive demo and downloads, for lawful purposes. You must not:
- probe, scan or test the Site's security, except as our published vulnerability disclosure policy allows;
- interfere with the Site's operation, overload it or introduce malicious code;
- misrepresent who you are, or send spam or unlawful content through the chat or forms;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site beyond what our robots.txt file allows.
2. Content and intellectual property
The Site's text, graphics, logos, videos and software belong to Cyberinfra Limited or its licensors. You may view and share pages for reference but may not republish them commercially without our permission. "ScreenJournal" and our logos are our trademarks; no licence is granted. Software downloaded from the Site is licensed, not sold, under our Terms of Use.
If you believe Site content infringes your rights, email support@screenjournal.ai with the subject line "IP complaint", identifying the content and the right you hold.
3. The support chat
The support chat on the Site is an AI assistant. Its answers are generated by a Google Gemini model through Google's Gemini API from what we have written about ScreenJournal. Answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date; do not rely on them for a purchasing, legal or compliance decision. Nothing the chat says is legal advice, changes our terms or binds us to an offer.
We do not store chat conversations; the conversation stays in your browser tab until you close or reload it. Each message is sent to Google to generate the answer, under Google's terms. Do not enter sensitive personal data. The chat may offer a WhatsApp link, which leaves the Site.
4. Demo requests and the interactive demo
Demo and trial requests. The "Book a demo" and trial buttons open a WhatsApp chat with us; WhatsApp is operated by Meta and its terms apply to that chat. What you write there reaches our team.
Interactive demo. The demo page is an AI chat over synthetic data. Messages you type there are sent to an automation workflow we run on our own server in Germany, which keeps the conversation for the session so it can answer follow-up questions and keeps its execution log for about 14 days. Do not enter personal data into the demo chat. The demonstration organisation opened by "Try the demo" on the web app's sign-in page also holds synthetic data, and its demo account is read-only.
5. No advice; no offer
Site content, including material about compliance and the law, is general information, not legal advice, and may not reflect the current product. Features may change. Prices are confirmed at checkout, refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, and nothing on the Site is a binding offer.
6. Third-party links and privacy
We do not control the third-party sites the Site links to and are not responsible for them. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data collected through the Site.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is accurate, available or error-free, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, including the support chat. Our total liability for claims about the Site is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We list every change on the Legal page with its effective date and, where practicable, post material changes before they take effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about the Site. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there.
